Parking: There will be no parking on the entrance road or blocking any other roads, loading ramps, doors or the like. Park ONLY where directed or in marked areas, leaving a large vehicle in the wrong area can cause immediate problems. Your registration/attendance gives us permission to tow vehicles in violation.
Tractors and moving equipment may have no more riders than they were designed for.
Keep a flag man in front of large moving tractors and other poor visibility equipment.
Towed machinery must be properly attached when in motion. Safety chains should always be used when equipped. Drop bolts MUST have clips in place.
Fire Safety
You are responsible for locating the nearest extinguisher station to your site.
Fire extinguisher stations are provided as a benefit to exhibitors. Please respect this and leave them untouched unless needed.
Shut off engines while refueling.
No open fuel containers or leaky fuel systems. Gasoline vapors are dense and stay near the ground. Alert others to gas spills.
No smoking near open gas containers or while fueling.
No unattended running engines.
Police your site before you leave.
Campfires: No flammables next to fires. Use a fire ring or brick barrier around campfires. Do not remove stones from the stone walls. Clear a 5 foot no-burn zone around campfires. Be sure there are no low hanging tree branches over the fire area. Make sure to have access to a fire extinguisher or a bucket of water and a shovel for emergencies. Never leave a campfire unattended. Police the area before you leave. Be aware of High Fire Risk alerts in the area.
Machinery/Engine Safety
Only qualified operators may operate exhibits.
Know your machinery. Don’t operate a vehicle/machine unless you are fully familiar with its operation.
Steam: Boilers must be state inspected if fire box is over one cubic foot. Steam hookups are available behind the Industrial Hall. House steam pressure varies from 40-80 psi. Open valves slowly. Treat steam with respect - burns are painful.
All electrical equipment must be properly sized and in excellent condition.
Maintain public safety zones. Keep the public at least 4 feet from operating equipment. KEEP ROPES or SAFETY BARRIERS UP! CAMA reserves the right to move or shut down any exhibit deemed unsafe.
Any exhibit/demonstration device, item, or equipment in support of an exhibit that is in an unsafe condition must be corrected, terminated or removed from the show site at CAMA discretion.
Dangling, loose clothing, jewelry, hair or loose shoelaces must be corrected before operating machinery.

IMPORTANT REGULATIONS
CAMA is not childproof. There will be operating machinery exhibits as well as trucks and tractors driving to exhibit spaces along driveways/walking paths. Please closely supervise all children in your care both inside and outside of buildings HOLD THEIR HANDS!
MOVEMENT OF TRACTORS: All types of tractors, including garden tractors may be driven at the show. The site speed limit during shows is AT A WALK. Any driver under the age of 17 must have an adult accompanying them at all times when riding. The tractor parade moves slowly enough that an adult will be able to walk alongside. Please do not move tractors at busy times when pedestrian areas are crowded.
ALL TERRAIN VEHICLES, INCLUDING DIRT BIKES: (Definition contained here)
These types of motorized vehicles are not to be used on any part of our grounds at any time. This is not limited to our show but is in effect year round, 24/7. CAMA is situated on Connecticut state land (we own the buildings and equipment but lease the land from the state). As per state law, no one may operate an “ATV” on state land unless the land is designated for such use. CAMA’S land is not. The state’s definition of an “ATV” in this context is “any motorized vehicle not suitable for operation on a highway… and travels on two or more tires. CAMA will not allow any such ATV that is brought onto our grounds to be unloaded. See Handicapped Exceptions below.
EXCEPTIONS to these regulations: Authorized CAMA working staff members will be allowed to use golf carts and gators for transportation throughout the grounds. In addition, the handicapped and physically challenged will, of course continue to be allowed to use motorized equipment. Please remember the speed limit is AT A WALK for all CAMA Guests.
CAMPERS: We must know who is camping on our ground. Consequently, we’ll be asking all campers to register with CAMA (no fee involved). There will be information about this when you arrive for the show. In the lower parking field, all camp sites must be along the river side of the field. This is a State of CT requirement, Please stop in at the Welcome Center to fill out the form.
ANTIQUE CARS AND TRUCKS: We enjoy having these vehicles as part of our show, but due to space limitations we will only allow Pre-1950 vehicles in the upper field. Any vehicles newer than this will be allowed only on a per vehicle basis, based upon available space and at the discretion of CAMA. All other classic and antique vehicles will need to park in the lower field in a section designated for antique vehicles.
SPECIAL INFORMATION FOR VENDORS: We will be adhering to this vendor registration/space assignment schedule strictly this year in an effort to be fair to all.
Those of you who Pre-Registered for this year’s show must still wait until noon Wednesday to check in and register at the registration tent and then you will be allowed to set up in your chosen spots.
Vendors who did not pre-register will be asked to wait until after noon Wednesday to register and be assigned a space on a first come basis. No exceptions!
Once registered, a CAMA member will then direct you to an appropriate vendor space(s). Be aware that if you put something in a space before registering, it could be removed or we may ask you to remove it. Once you’ve registered as a vendor and have been assigned a space(s) you must leave something in your chosen space(s) - (tent, tables, etc.)
Phones are available in all major buildings. Dial 911 for fire or medical emergencies. We are located at 31 Kent-Cornwall Rd. in Kent, CT. Immediately alert CAMA personnel to any emergencies or injuries.
